After reading the chapter, answer the following questions:
1. Why is it important to connect with your team?
2. How did Elizabeth Dole connect with her audience?
3. Do you agree with the author that leaders must touch a heart before they ask for a hand? Explain or give an example.
4. In your profession or area of service, who has mastered the Law of Connection? How do you react when you hear this person speak?
Rate your own leadership by placing the number 1, 2, or 3 next to each of the following statements: 1=Never 2=Sometimes 3=Always

5. How have you connected with someone on your team? Did you initiate the relationship or did they?
6. Up to now, why did you think it was or wasn't important to connect with people in your work environment?
7. How can you initiate healthy work relationships?
